Terms of Service

AIsurface is a service operated by Cleardot Enterprises that scores how large language models describe a given domain across a set of canonical questions. Output is informational and is not a guarantee of any particular ranking, recommendation, or business outcome.

To use the service you provide a working email address and verify it via a one-time code. You're responsible for keeping your email account secure — anyone who controls your email can sign in as you.

Free reports are limited to scans of a domain you control, verified by matching your email address to that domain. Paid plans (when available) lift this restriction.

You agree not to:

• Submit free scans for domains you don't control. Doing so to deny another person their free report is grounds for removal.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or otherwise harm a specific person or organization beyond ordinary competitive analysis.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompt templates or scoring logic.
• Resell raw report outputs as a competing service. (You can of course use them in client work.)
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or quota enforcement.

Free plans include one lifetime free report on your verified domain. Paid plans (when available) are billed monthly through Stripe; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

We may change pricing or plan features. Existing customers will be given at least 30 days' notice via email before any change applies to their renewal.

Scan reports are produced by third-party large language models interpreted by our scoring engine. Models are imperfect, can produce inaccurate or out-of-date statements, and their outputs change over time. Reports are descriptive, not prescriptive, and are not legal, financial, or marketing advice.

Our prompts, scoring rubric, code, and report templates remain our property. The factual content of reports about your domain — scores, model outputs, and recommendations — is yours to use however you like, including in client work and external publications.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleardot Enterprises's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms; we'll email you a reason and a 7-day window to remedy the issue before permanent removal, except where doing so would risk harm to other users.

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located there.
